or, – 2i 1 + 6i 2 = 2

From eqs. (1) and (2),

i 1 = amp, i 2 = amp

So, i 1 – i 2 = amp

∴ V b – V d = volt

The PD across the cell is:

V c – V d = – 3i 2 + 3 = volt

The PD across the cell is:

V c – V b = i 2 + 1 = volt
